About Us

Mike is a former qualified electrician who entered the property field in 2001 with a very strong knowledge of building services, structural matters and contracts, allowing him to offer an innovative perspective to clients. This combined skills-set is rare amongst Channel Islands’ property managers.

Jon is a Chartered Building Surveyor and an RICS Registered Valuer. He is a fourth generation property professional and garnered his interest in property following his dad around a range of Guernsey homes when he was young. Jon started his career in Central London working for one of the largest core Building Surveying firms in the world. He moved back to Guernsey in 2010 and has since started a family. Jon developed a keen interest in the Guernsey property market as well as local building pathology and is often found carrying out surveys and property valuations or diagnosing and fixing property defects. His role at Mawson Collins will be to assist the Commercial team and oversee property valuations, while also reviewing any property defects and procurement for the property management team. Jon also heads up the Mawson Collins affiliated company, Maides and Partners, providing core building surveying services.

Lisa studied at The Guernsey College of Further Education to achieve distinctions at RSA 3 level, en route to securing her Diploma in Secretarial Procedures. After a short time in finance, Lisa worked in insurance, recruitment and architectural practices before joining one of the largest agencies on the Island to work in property. Her considerable managerial PA skills naturally make her a critical part of our business.

Esther was born and educated locally and has been in the Estate Agency industry for 11 years, previously working for another of Guernsey’s largest property agencies. She is a highly-skilled negotiator, who excels at guiding Vendors and Purchasers through the sales process and takes pride in marketing properties to their best advantage, whilst providing valuable support and advice.

After studying Art and Photography at Bournemouth’s Arts Institute, Sally returned to the island and briefly worked in retail and hairdressing before accepting a job in another of Guernsey’s largest property agencies. Her cross-market experience in both Residential Lettings and Sales having worked in various sectors of the estate agency business for over 10 years is invaluable. She has a passion for property and enjoys the fast-paced nature of the job.

Shane spent his early years of employment working in the building industry before moving on to work in the finance sector for a fiduciary firm where he gained valuable experience in the administration and activities of residential and commercial property holding entities. Shane is now applying the skills he has gained in both industries by looking after our managed residential blocks as a Senior Property Manager.

Tony spent his early years in finance and as a keen sportsman and trained snowboard instructor, has spent many hours on the slopes before finding his niche in Property Management. Having previously worked with various members of Mawson Collins over the past ten years, Tony is well placed to assist in managing an allocated client base, as part of our growing portfolio.

Following her A Level Studies at Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre, Georgina found her enthusiasm for Client Service roles working in various industries before joining Mawson Collins to train as a Property Manager. Georgina is now utilising her multi-faceted skills to manage her own portfolio of properties. Her easy going, cheerful nature and an eye for detail, makes her a reliable contact for clients and tenants alike.

Alice joined the team following four years managing and running two large, prominent retail shops on the Island. Providing excellent customer service and working under pressure in her previous role has been good experience for the fast paced environment that Lettings demands. Alice has a friendly and positive outlook on life and will always be available to assist tenants and clients as best she can.

Adele has been with the team since 2016, her aptitude being such that she has moved through the ranks from Receptionist to Assistant Property Manager. Adele plays a vital role in supporting our Senior Property Manager and callers can always expect a cheery and helpful voice at the end of the phone. Her knowledge of the business is exemplary, and she is always keen to assist wherever she can.

Sophie is the youngest member of the team, having completed her education to A-Level standard before joining the world of work. Already proving to be indispensable, Sophie is key in arranging critical tasks within our portfolio whilst assisting staff members with all manner of tasks and helping with the smooth running of the office.

Donna has previously worked in a client facing role as an Optical Dispenser for the UK’s leading health and beauty retailer, in their local St Peter Port branch. With several other client facing roles under her belt, Donna is now the welcoming face of Mawson Collins, managing our reception desk and providing vital support for our Sales, Lettings and Property Management teams with all manner of administrative tasks. Donna is always ready to greet our callers and visitors with a warm welcome.

Lisa went straight into the world of finance from school, working for an international bank, first as secretarial support and then banking administration. In 1996, she moved into securities administration. After a career break, she joined the team in 2012. Lisa has an excellent knowledge of all our accounting procedures and now manages the Department.

Jamy spent her early years on the slopes as a ski instructor before relocating to Guernsey with her husband and colleague, Tony. Jamy has held various senior client facing roles and now has a dual role in the company, one being in the Accounts Department and the other assisting Tony with his allocated client base. Jamy has a good head for figures and also enjoys assisting with the challenges that Property Management can bring. Her positive attitude and patient nature make her an excellent contact for all clients and tenants requiring assistance.
